Software Developer job available in Islamabad for one of the leading Telecom Company. Candidates must be having bachelor degree in software development along with 5 years of relevant working experience in IPTV domain and in HTTP/RTSP/RTMP/RTP streaming along with App development experience in Andriod and iOS.
For the Software Developer job role, the candidate should also have excellent programming skills, preferably in C/C++ or related frameworks on embedded systems and good knowledge about networking protocols and codecs.is to skillset for the web TV project.
Responsibilities:
- Develops software solutions Andriod and iOS by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
- Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions for the web TV project.
- To work in IPTV domain, IPTV middleware development.
- Familiar with C/C++ or related frameworks and on embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience in HTTP/RTSP/RTMP/RTP streaming.
- To work with networking protocols like TCP, UDP, IGMP PPP, SNMP, DHCP.
- To read and understand technical specifications and documents. Knowledge about Linux Framebuffer/GTK+/DirectFB.
- Investigates problem areas, troubleshooting, and system testing. To study codecs like H.264, MPEG-2, AAC.
- Follows the software development lifecycle.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Skills:
- Excellent programming skills, preferably in C/C++ or related frameworks, preferably on embedded systems.
- Good knowledge about codecs like H.264, MPEG-2, AAC.
- Good knowledge about networking protocols like TCP, UDP, IGMP PPP, SNMP, DHCP.
- Knowledge about Linux Framebuffer/GTK+/DirectFB.
