Merchandiser job is available in Karachi for one of the leading Apparel company in Pakistan. Candidates having Graduation degree along with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience of merchandising preferably in Garment Industry are required.
The job role of Merchandiser is to execute and monitor all merchandising functions including order management, shipping, Production and Quality controls.
- Communicate and co ordinate internally and externally for sampling, Lab dip, Accessories and Trims.
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
- Ensuring an appropriate order flow with the compliance to organisational policies.
- Monitoring and evaluation of all orders and sales processes as well as preparation of order reports.
- Ensure effective execution and monitoring activities related to shipping.
- Preparing internal order and purchase order sheet.
- Mediate between Quality control and Production department to maintain the benchmarks.
- Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.
